Improve sell-out experience for supporter

When a draw has limited tickets remaining supporters are still able to add any book value to their cart and proceed to check out. This results in the supporter being debited the funds but no tickets being issued and no explanation of what went wrong. If there is only a single ticket remaining as unsold this behaviour will continue until somebody chooses to purchase a single ticket.

Do you have a particular preference to what the experience should be? E.g. 5 tickets remain - supporter is trying to by 10. Do we inform them only 5 remain? Or do we just buy what is left?
Alternatively, once allocation is dropped below a threshold should we show the remaining allocation on the prize pages and cart recommendation? Might be a good way to increase FOMO.

Colin Hili: Hi Colin, EF would want the the “only 5 remain” option. We wouldn’t want to trial the remaining allocation on the prize page or cart recommendation. Thanks, Kirsty

Kirsty Moore any particular reason?

Colin Hili: Kerry Clifford would be best to answer this one.

Colin Hili: Hi Colin - I really like your suggestion of showing the remaining allocation once we hit the threshold. It will definitely increase FOMO - what we don't want is a supporter thinking they have purchased 10 tickets and only receiving 5 and us having to issue a refund for the tickets that they did not receive.
